So, I know this will eventually turn into a board and that is what I am hoping.
As an Offensive Line coach, how do you deal with Offensive coordinators not listening to your advice?

Well the next question is, is the HC the OC? Is the OC a former Oline coach that may just be seeing it differently than you? Are you explaining to him what you see and why you believe it will work? Is this something you have talked about in meetings? Are you just suggesting play calls because you want to be OC? Good questions to ask yourself when thinking of why the OC isn't listening to me. Most OC's I know want to run the football, they want to know what you are seeing in the defensive front that you think that play will work... not just "Hey coach run power" which I think they should be running but give evidence of why we should switch personnel, why we should run the counter to our base play, what are you seeing it set up. Is the OC in the booth or on the ground? Are you in booth or on the ground? Alot goes in to that question of, why won't this guy listen to me.

Keep plugging away and giving advice. Be positive as possible, never be negative, even if the play goes for a loss of yardage. Just keep suggesting things and suggesting things. Make sure you have a reason to your suggestion though, don't just offer up any old play.
